About Nathalin Shipping

Nathalin Shipping Pte Ltd, based in Singapore (formerly Nathalin Offshore Pte Ltd.), was established on 16 September 2011 as the first international expansion of the Nathalin Group from Thailand. Since its inception, Nathalin Shipping Pte Ltd (NSPL) has become a recognised operator in the oil storage and oil transportation sectors in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region.
In 2012, NSPL received the Document of Compliance (DOC) from Lloyd’s Register (LR) for the operation and management of tankers. The company began managing and chartering out storage tankers. Through quality leadership and professional efficiency, NSPL expanded its fleet and achieved ISO-9001:2015, ISO-14001:2015, and ISO-45001:2018 certifications in 2016. This growth provided the necessary resources for the effective management of tankers, both for storage and worldwide trading.
By 2017, NSPL had established itself as a prominent oil tanker operator. In 2023, NSPL received approval for biofuel loading and blending in storage tankers. Since then, we have been successfully loading, blending and discharging various types of biofuels as marine fuels which supports GHG emission target of IMO, in line with the Paris Agreement.

In 2024, NSPL aims to manage chemical tankers and become one of the leading global ship managers based in Singapore. The company is committed to keeping its managed operationally flawless, cost-effective, and in optimal condition to meet customer requirements. This commitment includes ensuring the safety of life, protecting the environment, property, and maintaining quality through operational excellence.

Nathalin Shipping values feedback from all stakeholders and is dedicated to continual improvement toward its objectives. The company employs a risk-based strategy for planning and implementing procedures. This involves analysing potential risks and making decisions based on their likelihood and impact.
Our current fleet includes Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCC) used as storage tankers and Aframax oil tankers. We are also planning to add chemical tankers to our fleet. Our VLCC tankers are primarily chartered out to oil majors and oil traders for storage operations in Malaysian waters, while our Aframax tankers are used for trading worldwide.

This policy manifests the commitment of Nathalin Shipping Pte Ltd to protect the occupational health and safety of our employees, and that our employees and businesses do not harm the same of others. Every activity across the entire organization shall be conducted after managing the risks or mitigating within acceptable levels.

All personnel ashore and onboard ships will act with a risk-based thinking that adheres to support its commitment in establishing a safe and healthy work-condition.

The management also encourages the workers to take part in consultation for maintaining and for the continual improvement all aspects of the international and local occupational health & safety standards which the Company is subscribed to.
Nathalin Shipping Pte Ltd and its employees are committed to protect and conserve the environment. Hence, we place the highest priority in management of controls relating to the environment by innovative ideas and improved efforts consistently in our procedures and in the process of establishing, implementation, monitoring and improvement.

The probable impact on various environmental aspects are assessed, evaluated and prioritized while setting up processes and procedures so that the eventual risks are either eliminated or mitigated well within the acceptable limits.

Every effort will be in place, so that this Policy is communicated and understood by all employees in office or onboard ships and made available to all interested parties or to the public involved in carrying out works on behalf of Company.
Nathalin Shipping Pte Ltd recognizes that all its resources are very important for business continuity and excelling performances. Hence, the Company instils security at the foremost priority against loss or damages to any of its resources.

The Company will ensure physical security and all-round secured working condition for all its tangible assets, for employees and will provide adequate protections to prevent damages to its abstract resources, including disruption to the info-communication and/or data-records on ship and ashore.

Nathalin Shipping Pte Ltd will ensure that the Company Security Officer, Master and Ship Security Officer or the person at work for data-protection are supported with, directed to act with risk-based thoughts and perform as per the applicable international standards, maritime security code and/or national legislation on data-security.
Nathalin Shipping Pte Ltd is committed to ensure a work-environment which is safe and conducive to the health of all employees and, it’s our policy that no person shall be under the influence of drug and/or alcohol while at work.

Drugs and alcohol are not allowed on the fleet of ships managed by Nathalin Shipping Pte Ltd. Therefore, the carriage, possession, or consumption of alcohol and/or illegitimate drugs onboard ships by any person is strictly prohibited.

For verification compliance with this policy, employees will undergo various regime of routine, periodical and instantaneous testing, as the situation warrants or as may be deemed necessary at times by the Company.

Nathalin Shipping Pte. Ltd is committed to adhere with and operate at the highest levels of diligence and transparency in connection with all sanctions regulations applicable to the NSPL and its activities, not only as to the letter of such regulations, but also as to their spirit and intentions.

This policy sets out the procedures and requirements in order to ensure that NSPL and its employees are in compliance with international sanctions.
